The Commissioners Court (comprised of 1 commissioner representing each of the four precincts and the County Judge) is the lynchpin that holds together the local, state and federal governments. The fact is, our Commissioners Court manages, spends and implements a significant amount of the tax dollars that we send to Washington and Austin. In addition to assuring that county roads are maintained, commissioners vote with the county judge to set the budget for all county departments and adopt a tax rate. This office also sets the yearly property tax rate and approves the budget and employment level for the county and sets commissioners and justice of the peace precinct boundaries. The buck stops at the County Commissioner’s office, where prudent government must prevail. As Conservatives, it is our job to be custodians of our children’s future and promote our county’s resources.As County Commissioner, I will:

1). Listen – Respectfully and diligently to the citizens of Precinct 1.
2). Vote  – Honestly and fervently based on my conservative values and a belief that the best government is the government that governs the least.

Your Precinct 1 County Commissioner’s Office will provide and commit to:

• Accountability: Parker County taxpayers will have access to what results they are receiving from us and why.
• Transparency: Taxpayers will be able to easily access and understand information showing what results Parker County is delivering (and those we are not).
• Credibility: Precinct 1 County Commissioner’s Office will do what it says it will do to assure the public trust of the citizens of Parker County.
• Results: Assure conservative values while focusing operational, budgetary and policy decisions on results that matter to the citizens of Parker County.
